Order on Thursday, received on Friday! Then the following week and saw this as: "Intel will introduce soon a new chip Atom processor, specially designed for netbooks. E 'smaller, lighter and offers better performance than previous versions of its Atom chip. I have to wait? Probably not. The same thing happened with the truck that I bought last Chev. Note: The NB205 Black Onyx's Chiclet-style keyboard. It seems that all other aspects. Runs on Windows 7 Starter, which seems to suit my needs so far . 1 GB of RAM seems adequate for e-mail, Web browsing and word processing and spreadsheet view. This amount includes the management bloatware. wait and see how the stack. Wi-Fi on / off is controlled the FN + F8 instead of a switch on the front / side. I like that better. Only problem so far is to install Network Magic. Order a couple of days. Overall very satisfied with the Toshiba NB-205.

Replaced an Acer netbook with the old Toshiba. Absolutely no comparison in terms of quality and performance. This netbook has a dimension of Nice keyboard. It comes with Windows 7 Starter I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Edition. Also added more memory, and it works very well. Battery life is also great. I did not have 9 hours, she says, but can go almost every day at least. I am not a techno-geek so I can give instructions, but I recommend this product with Windows Home Edition 7, and the memory updated. I LOVE THIS netbook!

I needed a light laptop to carry around and settled on the Toshiba because it has a good battery life, a keyboad very good and relatively large touchpad. I am a Mac user, but can not afford a MacBook Air, but for my needs, the Toshiba works fine for a PC. I'm not the installation of an additional concert in memory before I used and also bought an external DVD player to a backup system and install the software. The color is beautiful, but looks are not as elegant as I would like, because the battery is bulky, but obviously you can not have everything! I recommend, if you still need a lightweight portable computer, it works.

This is my first netbook, then I will start by saying that this netbook is good for what should be and when they are in bed and you just want to check your favorite websites to do your homework late at night, watch some videos said that the forum ... that's about it. This review is based on "use" of the Netbook. I have no intention to acquire the features of Windows 7 because it is not a criticism of an operating system, as I compared the performance of a notebook or laptop.

Before discussing the strengths and weaknesses of this laptop neutral'll see what I did after opening the package. Firstly, I unpacked the netbook and the battery (it is released, read instructions), I lit a few minutes to configure Windows 7 in 15 minutes, remove all the junk-WARE (toolbars, Office 2007 Trial Norton, games, etc ...) and install Google Chrome, version of Flash Player, and Avast Antivirus. Until this is what I have to say about this little netbook (I'll update later):

PROS:
- The packaging is very solid, the box is small and not heavy.
- It's great for everyday tasks, browsing, video-watching, music-listening, photos...etc.
- Runs Office 2007 without problems when you work with few documents at the same time.
- Slightly faster compared to other brands of netbooks that I have tried, thanks to the Atom N280.
- Long battery life, with normal use and standard battery setting (not Eco-Mode) it can hold up to 6-7 hours.
- I really like the overall design of the laptop, the power button in the middle is cool for turning it on without having to open the netbook.

NEUTRAL:
- YouTube videos run smoothly; however, they tend to "crack" when I try to view them in HQ.
- Glossy finish on the top, if you're used to these fingerprint magnets it won't trouble you. However, it has matte finish on the inside.
- The battery takes good 2-3 hours to charge (If not in use, else about 3-4 hours), but for a good 7-8 hours of real battery life I won't complain.

CONS:
- It can get considerably hot, not good for prolonged use on your lap; mind you, it will not burn you, but it's very uncomfortable.
- It has no Bluetooth connectivity, I bought a small Bluetooth dongle adapter separately. They're not expensive though.
- The sound coming from the speakers is horrible and very quiet(set at it's highest), you can listen to the sound but it won't sound pretty or normal; instead, get a pair of headphones or earphones.
- The trackpad gets in your way several times, it's too sensitive and whenever you type your palm can mess up what you were writting.
