Purchase on 8/12/09 and Toshiba NetPC I refused to upgrade to Windows 7 - because it comes with Windows XP pre-installed! Now selling pre-installed with Windows 7 Go figure.

I bought for my wife, thinking he had to sacrifice a lot of performance for battery life, especially with the new operating system Windows 7. However, this was not the case. Even with the standard 1 GB of RAM, the device works great, and the battery life is approximately 7 hours or more. As for the fit and finish goes, I respect such units, which is the best in its price range, including the keyboard - do not feel fragile at all, and nearly full-sized mouse pad anymore. My only complaint is that it needs a big-inch external drive or CD / DVD-ROM to create works. For some reason, you can not use a normal USB disk.

Excellent battery life, a keyboard that is large enough to make typing a breeze. First we uninstalled all the bloatware and installed the program you want Firefox, Thunderbird and OpenOffice. Perfect for traveling, but I use it on the kitchen table almost constantly.

Speedy (Win 7 boots faster than Vista does on my laptop more powerful), incredible battery life (I've won more than 9 hours in the label), the light and a pleasure to use. The full keyboard allows easy typing and with 3 USB ports, so you need equipment, you're covered. The keyboard is a squishy, which takes some 'getting used to and I wish there was more than a VGA port for video options, but generally until you try to listen to the full-screen resolution 1080 movie,' ll find nothing wrong.

Basic CT25664AC667 I bought a 2GB memory stick to improve multitasking and dual boot with Ubuntu Netbook Remix karma, which works out of the box with nothing but the sound (and a fix for this is in preparation). Personally, I am surprised to say that I prefer Win 7 Starter. Everything works perfectly on this little netbook and I can not find something that disappoints me.
