The bottom line is that computers will be affected as a Netbook. It 'really more like a laptop computer smaller. This netbook has a solid processor, expandable memory, 250 GB HD to play a large screen and excellent battery life. My battery has maintained a rate of about 10-10,5. The only thing small like others have mentioned is the touchpad. A little 'more' small for the good of many, but I'm used to. If you intend to do so, not thinking, but take this small car, but powerful.

Great little laptop. With the only problem is that the finger pad is ultra-sensitive (probably the same for all models) - I recommend using an external mouse if you want to avoid lots of frustration. Everything else is considered a great little computer.

I started shopping for notebooks because of their easy to carry size and weight. I chose the AOD250 Acer-1584 because of its long battery life, Windows 7, an expandable memory and the price. I was not disappointed with my choice. Traveling with the Acer was great. The keyboard is nice, the screen is amazing and the battery life has exceeded my expectations. I use the integrated webcam to chat with friends in Europe, and it works very well. For those looking for a great tool for email, Internet research and word processing, really recommend the Acer.

This is the first netbook I have acquired. Shop at Amazon and I was very happy with the price and super fast free delivery. I have two PC Acer Othe s, but this was the first where I ran into a problem that was my fault. When Windows 7 beginner, you are prompted to type a password of your choice. Since the keyboard is very small, I must have typed the wrong key and displays the window and points not only people who could not confirm that I am entering the password. After completing the installation, I restarted the computer and Windows will not accept the password I thought I entered.

I decided to call for help, but to my surprise I could not find a number of direct dial in all the documentation that came with the netbooks. Acer has gone to the site and still could not find a number. He did a Google search and found a number that was a foreign call center with a service representative, who had an Asian accent and spoke English very quickly. He had to ask him to slow down several times. Since I had a problem of "password", said I should send the PC to the Acer service at a cost of $ 99.00 !!!!!! He explained that this was unacceptable and I expect Acer to honor their guarantee and provide a better service. Finally, he explained how I could go to restore the standby mode by holding down the Alt key and typing F 10. Netbooks have no disk drives or the recovery discs. I did a complete restoration, which took more than an hour and again, this time using only one finger to type the password. Success!

The netbook is working well and I love it! Since the Acer support was soooo bad, I can only give the book three stars. But for most computer savy person is a great buy.

I had this computer for five days and learned that it is still bizarre. I am pleased with many aspects of its operation, but the touchpad is a failure. It comes with a sticker on the touchpad that calls a "multi-gesture touchpad. Actions with multiple fingers, it means being able to increase the size of the page you are viewing, scroll vertically or horizonatally and even reversed. L ' only control that works is the vertical scrolling. These functions are explained in the manual and video included. I am now returning my netbook so I can not use the touchpad function.
