This is a great little computer. Windows 7 is easy to use and has been a breeze to set up and network with my computer for wireless connection. Easily transfer files for the Acer over the network. It 'really hard 9 hours battery full. So portable! Just what I wanted.

I just received today my Netbook Acer D250. I was a bit 'nervous to buy one of these little guys, but after seeing these prices for Christmas and read the comments, I decided to go. I ordered the blue and is powerful to watch. I Can not Get Over so small and lightweight it is. Provided that includes many features that require it (systems of e-mail, course management, loading and reading the flash file, open and edit Word documents), I'm sure will be a great purchase.

I was a bit worried about 'the netbook to be too small for me and my fingers (I'm 6'7 "and - er - not thin), and after playing with the car a bit', I'm surprised how easily I can type.'m just "how I keep my fingers than normal on my laptop (and HP Pavilion), but let's be realistic: you should not buy a netbook to type an essay and I intend to do serious word processing on this machine. I bought it for traveling and for days at work when I know that only by mail, and no research. The key is that little detail for me is the backspace key - I'm used to a 1 "wide Backspace, and netball is the size of a letter, but that's OK, and adaptation will not be so difficult. The touchpad is small, but can not be much greater and maintain the profile of this little netbook. As with any new computer, new stereo, new phone or else there will be a short adjustment period, but this is normal, with all the electronics.

I followed the advice of another review and ([...]) has been described as very easy to set the thing. I replaced the memory card of 2 GB, because even before you put the battery for the first time, and, of course, the computer started fine. I got rid of many programs that are preloaded, including the processes of McAfee. I performed the update (there were 34 updates, requires 10-15 minutes to download and reboot, took my dog for a walk, and the computer is operational again on my return). I downloaded the Panda Antivirus software for mobile ($[...] for 12 months), and downloaded and installed quickly and without problems. Webroot that I use for my main laptop, but I loved the Panda specify a product for the Netbook. If I am right or not, I feel like I'm not going to slow the car so much.

So far, so good with this little machine. I strive to give 4 stars, because it is always tested for what I need (I teach online for one university), and because the keyboard feels a little 'fragile fingers. I can not the product or Acer, honestly. I do not think you can reasonably expect quality Vaio Mac on a miniature computer $[...]. As long as everything goes as planned, I will probably grow at a 4.5-5 star rating after one or two trips and have a ' idea of how you travel.

I just received this Netbook virgin August 2 days has been extremely reluctant to jump and buy any Old Course netbook.of considered dell.but HP and then I realized that I wanted something that is more aesthetic than the computer style.this both.im aid writing this review now:) Anyway, I looked high and low for a netbook that is convenient, but had a good battery and has almost taken the fast.i Toshiba nb205-330, but every minute "last I came across this beauty.i little since not only was thinner than the Toshiba (which is very important because I am a student and will be around for long), but an equal or better battery life and a fast processor and is to meet the cheaper.so $ 70 and read and decided to put my order.since obtained in this that I concluded:

-Battery life: with the same parameters as above, and only 30 percent battery life through the window, I used until the battery was dying and had received 4 hours out of it! and I was browsing the Web and download the things I needed.i recharged the batteries and I suppose that will last me a long time before having to recharge again. adjust the power management so im thinking somewhere along the lines of advertising 8 or 9 hours. Screen: The screen has a very strong graphic and is a pleasure to read things.i dont even realize that I'm using netbook.i I'm looking at a computer screen. Keyboard: The keyboard I took time to adjust to all.I have a great hand of a woman, touch me and I'm like any other computer mouse pad without error whatsoever.and I rarely use because I decided to Logitech everywhere (even a very good product), but the mousepad is very acceptional.-weight: this was an important factor for me.I wanted something that I threw in my bag and go, and do not have my shoulder and colleagues aching.ladies a computer is very light. I expected the battery to be ridiculous, but not protruding too all.doesnt heavy.so and not throw in the bag and ur going? not a problem at all, and as a student who is having a dream

* UPDATE 12/15/09: After charging the battery and use it (you can not use every second of the day cuz the battery lasts a long time) I got it at least 8 hours in total. and that was with pauses between, and it does not. upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, runs like a dream.for all students out there, go to this site: [...]. so I can not upgrade because Microsoft is expensive, but if ur a student, Windows 7 Professional is only $ 30 and Microsoft Office is that the 60 month! plus some other things! so ... There U Go everyone!

First, the image of unity here is inaccurate. The most recent were the product logo in the upper left of the facade. Not at the bottom of the screen. Mine was built in 9 / 09. I do not know if their are any other differences.

This is a solid netbook. He does all the things I want in a laptop in a smaller format. Battery life is impressive, with options to regulate the use of energy in order to achieve maximum independence. I used to complete the 9 hours that the claims of the manufacturer. The speakers of this netbook really disgusting. You can barely hear them. And Bluetooth is activated, and if you're like me, you should take a good Bluetooth headset Then in September, sounds really good. Even Staffing Starter Windows 7 sucks too. I upgraded to Windows Home Premium 7. Big difference. And another thing is that if you plan to spend $ 79.95 for 7 more updates to Windows Home Premium. You should also upgrade the memory to 2 GB. Which will cost additional $ 45.00.

If you buy the upgrade Home Premium, Bluetooth headsets and memory expansion up to 2GB, add an additional $ 185 or so, for the price. I bought mine for $ 350 and then spent another $ 185 and about. It is about $ 535 in total. A little spendy for a Netbook. If you can afford is a great, if not exceptional netbook. I just wish manfacturers market these units with everything they need to function at their optimum capacity. But it is not. The reasons, competition in the market. And the consumer is left with the bag.

As I said, the computer is solid. Battery life is excellent, but Windows 7 is very "light" from the network. I'm sure it would be better if you upgrade to Windows, but why should we spend $ 78.00 for another operating system that will allow the network when he could, with that 'he had. I ordered one with Windows XP and send it back.
