K. Phillips ( Midwest USA ) I bought this computer as my main machine and I could not be happier. E 'can handle any task I do (although a little' slower than my previous ginormous laptop with Core 2 Duo processors and Wireless N) size laptop that makes a difference for sure, I particularly like top-SD card hidden inside the wire - I have a very important paper capacity and use as a daily backup of valuable data. Battery life is amazing and really hard almost as long as the advertising, I found the screen size is not perfect ... too small. My only complaint feet on the bottom making it much more often than it should be.
If you use this as a mainframe, there are some accessories I recommend - laptop keyboard (I have the silicone roll-up style), a trip Optical Mouse (I use a Microsoft Cordless Optical), and external DVD drive. Are very small, with small hands and sometimes find by typing something like a portable keyboard for the challenge I find is very compact, economical and not the things, when I have a lot of typing. The keyboard is really almost a full size standard keyboard, but since I was a typical day of a full size keyboard at work, using what I have launched a rapid attack. Mouse for notebooks is eloquent. And even if I had my Eee for 5 months this week, I bought an external DVD player and only wish I had done before. It 'a total pain to transfer the installation CD (Quickbooks, Roxio Media Creator, Office 2007, etc.) from their CDs to an SD card ... you get the idea. Oh, I did upgrade to 2GB on the day I bought it - super easy and convenient, certainly recommended.
Bottom Line: Agreement on a big everywhere you go people will ask and be jealous of your Teeny amazed that you can do everything their big monster can do! Everyone in my house is jealous and wants one of them. My Lucky 10 year old daughter will always be a Christmas this year (shhh, do not tell him, is a surprise!). Enjoy yours:)
