forevereire ( NEW YORK, NY USA ) I bought 4 Asus Eee netbook in the last 2 months. I started with a good title for my husband for his journey, then ordered one for me, one that was returned. I replaced a VU1X white. Battery dying during the night 2. I went back and bought a new one with the battery life different. Participation was a different model of what I had in black and comes first. This will be held in Hong Kong. I hope it's a good thing, not a lemon. I tested the battery life in different ways. It lasts from 5 to just over 5 hours. But never to 7 hours.
Other things to remember buyers. I think all the netbook ASUS Eee Atom processor are N. Wrong. Some Intel Atom N, some Intel Celeron. The model number, perhaps the same, but the processor or the model could be different. Read the description. I bought everything from Beach Camera through Amazon. Beach shippments camera is fast and offers a variety. But I fear they said they refuse to return the PC. As the possibility of lemon ASUS is 50/50, I do not want to do with customer service ASUS. Are horrible. I followed the instructions of technical support, has not worked. Then you could hear his voice, he began to think that I am a "stupid".

B. Hartzog ( Missouri ) I use my netbook for almost a year now, and these are my personal observations concerning him: The good, the size, shape and weight of computers are nice. I also like the flexible sleeve zip that came with it, like the cleaning cloth. For my needs (which comprise mainly word processing and online games), the number and position of the doors were all right, and the screen size was adequate. The way in which the keys are almost flush with the bottom and a little 'depressing enough to create a pocket "come in very useful, I can put a small object from there to keep the key of your choice and rest stops and works well .
My first complaint is important, with the navigation key on the right side. Even after all these months, I came across the arrow of time and then when I shift key, and I can not tell you how annoying it is when I am in the midst of a cat and I had the entire line by typing set aside on that ground. I would have preferred that the projects, such as Acer netbook for my sister, in which both Shift keys are full size, and the arrows are elsewhere. The second main problem for me is the performance of the computer a bit 'slow. "While for the most part, you can" go ahead ", while I'm gaming or media playback, the feeling draggy, even in Super Performance Mode, you can get to be a nuisance. I'm seriously thinking of buying the upgrade to 2 GB of RAM for it.
There were questions, less important than what I noticed. The battery lasts seven hours, even in power saving mode. Also, sometimes when I first power the computer, the screen stays black. I have to power cycle the unit to solve this problem. But, again, not too big a deal for me, until it worse. Overall, this product is decent enough, but if I had to make this purchase decision again, I think we are just going ahead and shell out hundreds of dollars or more for a total capacity of full size laptops.
