I do not know if I can postpone or not. Let me start by saying that in the past have been partners in a small computer company. These are some of the computers. I realize that you can not compare to my tower and desktop computers. Netbook It takes time for everything. Start up, going nowhere, going online, arrested. I had read reviews saying how fast were ~ What's wrong with me? I went into msconfig to try to stop a broadcast zillon shipment. It is still very slow. I turn, can literally go into another room, take a cup of coffee back and starts.

It seems there is a delay every time you click with the mouse ~ how are you trying to figure out what to do. No way I can multitask on this topic. The hourglass spins and turns. I have a wireless router on your home network. All other computers in the house connects to 16-20m. I can not even netbooks to 5m. Facebook is impossible to use. Nearly slow dial-up. I like the size and ease of use. And "nice and comfortable, but I think it is so slow that it will be useless. Anybody who has suggestions I'm open to everything, before you seriously consider doing.

My little netbook is very convenient to make a huge billion, because the last 8 months. Only once I got back to Acer, why did'nt know what was the buzz that was less "I had a guarantee in all cases" because it is so funny .. .

I can not say enough about how good this netbook is an understatement. I have not found anything to complain about. It 'been for two months and had no problems at all. The wireless card is excellent. It picks up signals that my full size laptop is not possible. Click the button F11 to go full screen when you use the browser and have a lot of screen space. I used this with a second monitor to be my main and it works perfectly. I have small hands so the keyboard is smaller than a problem.

After reading the reviews on Amazon, which have been largely positive, I ordered this camera for a trip to Thailand and Cambodia. I read a study that says: "I've heard good things about this entry, but unfortunately I received no operating system installed. I had to return it for a full refund.

For the most important, the unit I received is not an operating system! Amazon has listed the unit and I am replacing it with ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Netbook PU1X-BK Black 10.1-inch, one (10 hours!) The opinion that I read today, is to buy an Acer Aspire unpredictable environment and experience, often disappointing. Relevant context of this review: This is my first and netball, I had a high conversion of Mac OS for the past 2 and 1 / 2 years. I never swore to buy anything with a Windows operating system again, but bought it because the price, size and battery life are what I need. BOTTOM LINE: I played with my netbook for three days now and I can say is everything I expected.

Starter Windows 7 is adequate, is slow, even with 4 windows open at once. I always recognizing the file structure of Windows 7 and how to install applications, etc., but not an error of Windows 7. The question arises as wallpaper on the site of Asus, which allows you to make any pictures of your screen (under "Download" for Windows 7 ... I think this is the first time in the list). Asus technical support has been very useful and effective: Yes, I had to call while I was in boot of Windows 7, because I had an "icon of infinite initialization" during the set-up. They said something that should not be installed directly on the set-up.

The keyboard is smaller, but acceptable, easy to use: Once again, the point is small, so you can expect some differences. I have to see if I or Type I error (touch Most Type). I hit "z" instead of "shift", if I do not watch.

I bought a netbook because I needed something light and portable. New netbooks are coming out so quickly, or more moving so fast, even if you could find a newspaper, when the magazine has published a new, better, cheaper Netbook is on the market. So I had to rely on secondary factors, such as the reputation of the manufacturer (ASUS) and supplier (Amazon). What I know about each one of them told me that the product is good, with good price. I received this netbook a couple of days ago. I have neither the time nor the inclination to try a lot and even though I did a sort of objective tests, I am not a test of professional products. What can I contribute to excellent reviews above are those comments:

1. No one can tell you it will last forever. It probably won't. But it seems to be very well made and, as I've said, by a company in the computer components business in general for many years and on the leading edge of netbook design and manufacturer for the past couple of years. Memory is expandable, it seems solidly well built (for a lightweight, plastic covered netbook), it should have a very long service life.

2. It's not for everyone. Very few things are. It does seem to designed to cover the anticipate uses of a wide variety of users, however. So for an experienced user, some things may seem hokie or sophmoric or over simplified. But it loads and runs programs commonly used by experienced users. For a novice, it seems vastly more friendly than laptops were when I first used them many many years ago and laptops I've purchased not too long ago as well.

3. I don't know about ASUS tech support. I seldom use any mainstream product's support. When I do, it's generally extremely difficult to use and not always helpful. So if this is important to you, I can't help you except to say that this netbook is really is user friendly compared to many other things I've seen and used. For example, I plugged in a Samsung DVD in two USB ports and began using it within seconds. Without having to read any instructions. I got a feeling ASUS anticipates many of the potential uses and handles them so that tech support does not become an issue. I mean the EEE is supposed to stand for easy to use and a couple of other easy to's, doesn't it? Including Windows 7 Starter instead of some older version of Windows or some version of Linux is just another manifestation of the mission to give the consumer something new and advanced, robust and easy to use, will remain/become the consumer standard, and shows some promise of being relatively bug free.

4. Does Windows 7 Starter suck? It works for me. The logo in the center of the desktop image you can't easily change is OK. I can always cover it up with program icons, and it could have been a lot less subtle. I didn't pay a lot for the starter version and won't have to pay a lot if I later determine I have to upgrade. Inn other words, the starter version works fine and it's my choice if and when I want to upgrade. Everything I've run through it so far works fine, including Adobe Acrobat Standard, Quickbooks, the latest version of Verizon Wireless Manager and other brand name business productivity programs. Everything runs fine so far. The RAM memory is fine. I don't know if it will handle Adobe Illustrator, but I wouldn't be surprised.

5. Will you get a better deal if you wait? Probably. Netbooks get new and better features and the price comes down. A few months ago 160g was the standard hard drive size on netbooks of this class. This one has 250g. Two days ago the price went down, then it went up, now it's $20 down again. This is a very robust netbook, a very good buy at $399.00. If you need it now, if you can use it now, if you will get some entertainment value from it now, buy it now. The value of your using it now will more than offset the savings if you wait until after Christmas.

6. Is the battery as great as they say? I didn't clock it, but I did some net surfing with a USB Pantech 175 modem, loaded lots of stuff onto the hard drive with the separately purchased USB powered DVD burner, and did a few other things and it's still showing more than a couple of hours left. I could not have come close to doing the equivalent on other laptops and notebooks I've owned.

7. Is an ultra-compact, USB powered, high-performance external CD/DVD writer necessary? I think so. There are other ways to load programs, transfer your music collection, share stuff with others. But nothing as universal and convenient. Buy it, use it, keep it home, lend it to a friend when they get their new notebook. And the Samsung worked fine at (current prices) $10 or $15 less than the ASUS.

It functions as it's supposed to, it's on the leading edge of technology in it's price range, it is very robust for its size and it's a real value price wise. And it looks good too. It's prompted several nice comments from people who have seen me with it. My initial impression is it's a very good buy.

He "2 days after the release of Windows 7 and netbooks this. With the sending of a day I played with the car for about 6 hours. So I have some initial ideas, but without much knowledge in the life of the battery or use while traveling (I'll try to update after my business trip next week). My general impression is very positive. E 'small and easy to use. The keyboard and trackpad work as my full size laptop. I installed a series of programs basic, such as Firefox and I have not had any problems. The only frustration I have is slight, a limitation mad Starter Edition of Windows 7: you can not change the wallpaper. This is a silly restriction, but not pay for a upgrade to Home Premium overcome.

With the netbook I bought an upgrade to 2 gig Crucial Technology CT25664AC800 2GB 200-pin DIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 memory module and an external DVD burner: ASUS USB 2.0 External 8x DVD Writer Optical Drive SDRW-08D1S - U (Black) . If you look at the image above you can see how easily install memory. He never got a bit 'strong' more than I wanted to remove the cache after removing the screw that one, but everything else went well. October 28 Update: Read the comments on this review for my first impression battery life and also some positive comments from other people.

The size of the Acer Aspire One is ideal for portability. The keyboard is easy to work and the screen is reasonable to read, I just wish it would be faster. This car is seriously slow! I can go faster on my 13 years old office. It probably has something to do with all that junk mail is loaded on it before doing so. However, if you're like me, you're not an engineer or tech-head, you just want to use a computer out-of-the-box, and do not want to analyze or spending hours trying to understand how little gazillion to go faster, then this machine is not for you.

We bought this netbook in September. We do not use it for heavy calculations, such as image analysis, because the processor is not appropriate for this. However, it has excellent performance for less demanding tasks. Battery life is described, it is surprisingly light, the screen is better than expected, and the keyboard is perfect for large fingers. Frozen twice while we were with Firefox, we suspect that the browser is the problem. The display does not light, but a compromise on quality.

This is my first mini that I bought to replace my big bulky Dell laptop. Wrong not to love my laptop, but not very protable. The HD screen on my Acer is very clear. I also read the fine print. When I had the laptop, as the freezing after about an hour. I called Acer and they gave me a code number of the service. I sent the seller Reap and took her back with a new hard drive, a week later. By far the best customer service I enounterd yet. Signed a very happy customer. PS Amazon is great customer service and

Great product - great keyboard - big screen - only downside is the lack of production of sound internal speakers, which is a very real problem when on the go with things like Skype, and not connected to a headset or high external speakers.

I purchased this netbook on the advice of a pilot technosavvy friend who had just bought one. Like all Apple computers and the sound through the other, struck me as I need the ability of computers for some applications. When I tried to load different, I found this netbook could not maintain their graphics and so returned within one week of purchase. Amazon was teriffic, as always, the transaction is completed.

I believe that there is no need to translate the Summit that I wrote. This netbook is simply the ultimate in portability. Keyboard LCD wide with a resolution of Nice size, great storage space, nice amount of RAM. I also run a virtual window to test the operating systems. Extreme Wi-Fi Home. Webcam, memory card reader USB port, Ethernet LAN, and a very elegant design. I am always surprised by its price. But thank you! Thank you for this beautiful piece of hardware for the price. I can only say again ... Simplemente la mejor! SIMPLY THE BEST

good netbook, but the battery life of 9 hours once they have used this for about a month traveling in Europe. In general, he did what he had and has an advantage to have. Small and '/ weight and battery life and allow him to travel. while I have listed several disadvantages of professionals, most are minor and do not say any of them, I can not recommend this netbook to someone.

PROS:
-- light and small
-- nice looking case, most of which is matte (top is glossy) so not covered in fingerprints
-- bright and clear screen, even at the lowest brightness
-- 6-7 battery life beneficial when on a plane or not near a power source
-- keyboard has a nice feel and not too small. It's different and better than the keyboard on the silver version.
-- power supply is small

CONS:
-- battery life isn't near the claimed 9 hours when in use. maybe if sitting idle, but through a variety of use found it was closer to 6-7 hours. about 6 hours watching video and 7 hours while web browsing.
-- left/right click buttons are somewhat stiff and make a fairly audible click
-- middle power button a bit too bright (easy fix by covering with black electrical tape)
-- windows XP has its hiccups. sometimes had issues resuming from hibernation/standby.
-- occasionally the wireless had issues connecting, and had to be resolved with reboot.
-- processor too slow to decode .mkv HD files
-- when plugging in headphones the realtek driver pops up it's audio control panel
-- since the 6 cell batter sticks out the back most 10" netbook sleeves won't fit.

I ordered the Toshiba netbook after seeing the last two months for a replacement for my laptop for College Bound Children. I will not go into all the technical details, as most netbooks are very similar, however, the keyboard and battery life were the most important factors in my decision to buy this netbook. This netbook has exceeded my expectations and I recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, feature-rich netbook with a long battery life. I just wish I had that Windows 7 on netbooks, but I'm still happy with Windows XP.

Katrina ( Portland, OR )

I like almost everything about the experience I have with this mint-blue 'netbook since I received some weeks earlier. I have very few complaints, which are actually more like boring. For my part, I noticed that when using Wi-Fi, I have about 1 bar to less than any other laptop, right next to me. I have great respect for the other 4 laptops of different ages and abilities, and all have a better reception. The only other thing that is really minor, is that when I use the netbook disconnected and reduces the screen after a period of non use the screen flickers slightly. Really should not bother anyone, but people like me who get annoyed by things much smaller, but I thought I'd mention. Also, I found my Samsung N310 just be the companion, and the rest is not left my side when I get it. I really like the battery life long enough and are not used to not having to connect every few hours. So his exit! Also, if I were not so dependent on the Internet, I would have given 5 stars, but has become a little 'of an obstacle.

Hello, I bought my GO month, and there are about a ... WOW. I used to travel with my laptop and still complained of weight and space. The netbook is really the answer. I believe that walk with their MAC Marlin, but decides against it, I need a Mac to work at home and most of where I am, PCs are used more easily to stay PC. I like the keyboard. I was a bit 'worried about the size and my hands are big enough. Guess what? So far, I misskeyed. Battery life is incredible. When not use my GO (in interviews, etc. ..) I put on stand by ... In this way, I can use every day and even wghen I returned to my hotel, more than 50% of power is always present. So far a very good buy

Will Earnest ( Illinois, USA )

After a small shop "around, it was concluded with the N310 for a number of reasons. I have a three year contract, but is a pain for all of July, it made sense when I realized (widescreen, full power), because I looked (after retirement). Now, every sense, as the netbook will be used primarily as a communication device when we're on vacation.

First, go to retail stores to see netbooks. In general, all options available, (Asus, Acer, HP) seemed tenuous at best. Most of the demo had the keys missing. Keyboards (and I have large hands), it seems good. Secondly, we have other Samsung products in the home - is a brand that I am inclined to buy because our experience with him. Third - the N310 seems to be pretty solid (and I think at this time - more than just a strong feeling that all those I have seen in retail sales), with a rubber cap and a Chiclet keyboard. Fourth, my wife - not too tech-oriented - like the look of the netbook (suggested by the blue mint). Although it is unlikely that use them, it is what is technology. I've looked at Toshiba and ASUS models, but ultimately chose Samsung. I can not say that I was able to compare side by side.

One question was whether it made sense to wait til Windows 7. It is likely that it could have. But these machines are equipped with a very specific need - not necessarily high tech. For me, it is the e-mail and casual work for Office. I put on OpenOfficeo and VLC media player, in addition to Firefox. Net, there are several things you can do with XP, and is likely to be able to do for some time. "Whoever is familiar and XP.

If you have installed and running in no time (even 48 Windows XP updates have been applied). I did the memory upgrade - trivial. Do not think I had, but it seemed logical, given the life cycle. I ordered from Amazon, rather than Crucial Crucial after using the wizard - the recommendation is not consistent with the crucial part of the Amazon. Far (a week +) very happy. Enjoy the sensation of sound. Not seem to have a lot of software garbage that must be removed. The battery seems to be impressive. No real problem with the keyboard. I think it's fair to say that the cost was not an important factor - is "more than others, but given the prices of netbooks, plus or minus 10% is not an essential problem for me. I know it is for others. I suggest the date in May to justify the additional costs and who knows what people will pay for "style".
......................................................

The Reluctant ( San Luis Obispo, CA USA )

I chose the Samsung because I GO keyboard layout, and I liked the ease of slipping in the modernization of 2 GB of memory. Cancel a screw to open the door at the bottom of the case, the release two clips and slide the memory card of the Netbook. Upgrading the memory board slid to the right, close the latches, close the door and replace the screw that holds the door closed. Easy, easy, fast. Memory function Upgraded great!

A small note: the photos show a pastel blue bag mint. Not so. The real color is vibrant, eye-popping turquoise that love is there or not. And unusual feature and not all cup of tea. Who loves (my wife) really like it a lot. Others think it is a little 'on the wild side. But if you do not like the color, there's just no denying that it is a little netbook. Keyboard is solid and sturdy and is a little' bigger than the keyboard found on netbooks most (92% of the size compared to 89% found for the most part). The difference is in the spacing key, and it is obvious. Typing on the GO Samsung is easy and comfortable.

It 'as simple as a Netbook. Much. And a fire in seconds, perfectly connected to any wireless system when I tried to use, provides a clear display of light is much easier to read than you might imagine, and all packs the features that I really need while browsing the Internet. Bluetooth connectivity is great, and do not use a Bluetooth mouse when working on projects that use this netbook. Otherwise, I use the touchpad, which is sufficient for surfing the Internet or simply send an e-mail.

I feel the netbook is incredible, strong and solid and well built. Fragile Nothing on this machine. Is packed with the software, and you should remove some of which could not be used often. I download files from a memory key that can be transported from one computer to another, so that the hard disk of 160 GB is more than adequate for my purposes. And the battery life is impressive ... I realized almost nine hours, when you use it in battery saving mode. Nearly six fastest in normal mode. That time is sufficient for most of my goals.

Compare this with the others and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. There are many good netbooks out there, all are small and convenient. GO Samsung is more expensive than other more, but feels more solid and better than simply building more. E 'incredibly light at under 3 pounds and comes in an amazing variety of colors for those who are not afraid to be noticed. Burnt Orange, Midnite Blue, black and "Blue Mint", which is anything but a pastel ... everything except the black box stand out in a crowd, and even Black Samsung GO is distinctive. If you can touch the screen somewhere, check out this Netbook. It is also different, as seems to be in photos with this article. I give this five (5) stars. It's a keeper!

Fast, lightweight, easy to ... Exactly what I was looking for. I bought my Acer netbook to take with me on a recent trip to France. I need access to e-mail (only my company), so I can stay in touch. The netbook has worked perfectly. I had a big blanket wireless Internet. I was also able to create and modify reservations and map. I am so happy that I bought. Made my journey of fun and less stress for me and my staff, because they were able to communicate with me while I was on vacation. Plus I could put it in the bag and is not heavy. Acer runs just as I expected - fast, easy to use, easy to carry. I now work to integrate into my daily life and taking on consultations. Two thumbs up!

I purchased this netbook this weekend at [...] which comes with a case, a mouse and an external DVD burner. What a very powerful toy! I immediately updated with Windows 7 and I am very impressed with how easy it was to install and how this little thing running. Unfortunately you can not upgrade from Windows XP, you just reinstall the operating system, then all programs, but it was very easy. Windows 7 will find all portable devices, including the webcam, microphone, speakers, card reader and a Bluetooth mouse. Video playback, animated windows, the heavy load of programs - do not feel any pain. Battery life is great - I have not had a chance to compare with XP, but drive in Windows 7 does not advertise, and you are very active, you do not like to idle screen. The only negative thing I can say about this laptop is my fingerprints on the cover to see pretty dirty right now. I hope that was not so obvious. Otherwise, it is an excellent product, highly recommended.

I bought one of these last winter for my wife before going to travel to Europe and we liked it so much I bought another this summer as a backup copy of my (too big) laptop. The battery life is long enough for the whole of the last 10 hours flight from Caracas to Paris. It is not as powerful as the state of the art laptop how to spend my life, but everything is all you need, provided that you add an external optical drive (which we did). And "more than enough to communicate on the road, accounting and the preparation and storage of photos and video card and even the power of the rotation does not allow you to play a flight simulator is the fantasy that travel needs of the case.

I had to use if from time to time for a quick fix in the code and I feared that this would be a drag to change the source file on a screen or samll it would take centuries for the compilation, but no: the screen is really good, too it is not as wide as I need on a daily basis, enough to complete the tasks. The construction of the project was much slower than my horse, but in no way scandalous. When on the road with him, I do not need to unplug all my lab, the main receiver every night, I can Skype my wife at the hotel and read the news at breakfast - very convenient. Ultimately, a backup of the PC on the Gran Via.

I purchased this netbook with a single goal in mind, to have something light, with a long battery life for when I'm on the road. It performs these functions very well. I do not give a fifth star for two reasons. First, it is difficult to load the software, if you have the CD because there is no CD-ROM. Secondly, the keyboard feels a little 'cheap. I hope this does not mean that the problems across the board. So far, so good.

I bought this computer, there are about 6 weeks and I'm excited for all the reasons why the rule - Lightweight, portable, bright screen, etc. The computer starts very early from hibernation. As a bonus, the computer fits easily in my (large) bag. I plan to purchase memory upgrades - when I have multiple windows of Firefox open (6-8 to 3-4 cards in each), the computer slows down. Open Office will run, but slowly. However, I do not understand why the comments of this computer (Aspire One AOD-250-1924) has so little, but a similar model (Aspire One AOD-250-1990) has both. The computer has Bluetooth and a life in 1924, a little 'battery life by OD-250-1990 model. The model 1990 is a 6-cell 4800 mAh (milliampere hour) battery life and this machine (model 1924 ) has a 6-cell 5200 mAh battery ... and a bit 'more. Today (August 18) of 1924 is ~ $ 20 more expensive than in 1990 but when I bought my 1924 and 1990 was ~ $ 35 more in 1990. Weird.

In summary, if the sacrifice 'upgrade' from an older laptop (a Dell 2005 in my case) is not so much to spend on the computer, and you can enjoy the great portability. This netbook is ideal for me, while I wait for Windows 7 or afford to buy a Mac
