I was looking for a way to keep from suffocating my 11.6" netbook while on my lap. Most "coolers" are larger square platforms and aren't the most attractive things to look at. This one is perfect! It's constructed of anodized aluminum with two whisper quiet fans. It has a power on/off switch with blue indicater light and a fan speed control dial. At full speed the fans are hardly noticeable. There is also a storage compartment built into the side of the round base at the back. Just push it in and it "ejects" like a memory card slot. It's approx. 1" in dia. and 6" long. I keep a flash drive and a short USB mini b cable there. The real plus for me is the style. I used velcro to attach it to the netbook "permanently". This black and silver cooler under my black and siver netbook looks like it was meant to be. The USB to power cable is secured underneath with stick on cable tie supports and small cable ties. My only beef with it is that I wish they could make a right angle power and USB cable. Both ends stick straight out of the base and netbook. The base is about 1" narrower than the 11.6" book so I am able to offset it to the left and conceal th power cable underneath. The USB sticks straight out still. With a 10.1" netbook, they will both stick out. Minor? Sure. I'm a little anal. Overall, I love it.

P.S. I purchased it from [...] at 11:00 AM on a Wednesday and it was on my front porch when I got home at 2:00 PM Thursday!!! 24 hour shipping?!!!

I bought this for my netbook. It 'very nice and quiet. You can barely hear it running. The price is very low compared to others I looked. E 'small enough to fit perfectly with the netbooks. I highly recommend this product.

diff ordered a cooling pad, and when I started was not operational, so replaced with this. and after using the second and the USB cable is dropped after the first use of the Netbook causes fans to complain and make noise, as if the connection if you look clearly. further control of the product and its easy to see how cheaply made this pile of garbage is done. its very clear that I did for the cheapest possible and then sold to a jacked score. Ive sent a dozen e-mails the past few months since I started and I'm Stone Cold was ignored by both Amazon and cell Baraga. I have a complaint with the BBB and I'm looking for in a civil suit against both companies. I am also waiting for a law to see what happens if a criminal proceeding may be taken against the two companies. NOT FOR ALL THINGS TO ALL PHONES Baragiano sell poorly made DEFECTIVE CRAP

I could not find the dimensions of this product anywhere on the page, but since it is for the Acer Aspire One, I thought it would be appropriate also in this model. Nope. This cooling pad is actually a few inches wider than the netbook itself, so there's no way it fits into a case that has been designed for the size of a Netbook Acer Aspire One. Functionally, it works very well. Keep my netbook legal the way it is supposed, and is also very thin and lightweight. But it is very large it becomes irrelevant for my purposes, so it is going back. Conclusion: If the width does not matter to you, I recommend this product.

I discovered that when the fund Aspire1 top left is hot, the unit has difficulty in closing. The block does an excellent job of keeping the cool zone. Unfortunately, the neck of the wire connecting the platform to the end (opposite the USB connector), broke the sheath in a few days of use. The wire is quickly on its way out.

I had overheating problems with my netbook, so I tried to buy the Targus Chill Mat. Having finally decided that I would have given a sudden, I ordered it and it works really well. Fits based on my netbook almost exactly, and is light enough to be worn every time I take my netbook. Both fans are very quiet and not make more noise than the computer itself. It has a simple configuration to connect to my netbook 24 / 7, and whereas before I had to keep my netbook of everything that was not a tile, marble or wooden surface to avoid overheating, I can now put all my right bed without fear of crashing. Even better, the fan turns off the power of your PC without compromising battery life lower.

The only problems with the product are low - not because of its lightness, its look and feel cheap, but certainly the case. Any pressure on supporters to take to the press against the frame and make a slight buzzing noise, so be careful when you take. Overall a wonderful product for people who have problems with overheating or wants a layer of cold water between them and their tour Netbook.
