The computer itself is great. I like its compact and has the battery life. The touchpad is the least annoying of any laptop I've ever used. The operating system Windows 7 starter, but it is not. its a very abbreviated version created for emerging markets in third world countries. There is so much missing. can not even put a picture on your desktop. Save your money and buy the XP version. I wish I did.

I bought this netbook to make the details of everyday children and, finally, I spend my Sony laptop. Overall I'm very pleased with this product. In reality there is not much I would change, even if the technicians "out there do not agree.
There are two drawbacks that I should be addressed:
One. The trial version of Office, do not read the fine print. I searched everywhere for the product Microsoft to activate the program, but apparently I need to purchase separately on MSN - Cost: $ 80. MSN lets you use the Office programs, but only for about 20 times until it becomes inactive.

Second. As mentioned previously, the Starter Pack for Windows, like those before have said, has its limits. I tried to address this problem yet, but I ended up buying the upgrade to me.

Thus, for the meat and potatoes. I would recommend this product? Definitely, yes. Just know that you may need to buy a couple of updates. Internet is big and fast. The keyboard is so small, once you get used to. Great product for the price. I hope this helps.

The netbook hardware is beautiful. The buttons are quite small, but is dictated by the practice of small size. Touchpad control with multi-finger is a great feature. The only drawback is 7 Windows Starter Edition. There is almost nothing you can do to customize your desktop. You can not change the color or background image. Mac must be people who love the philosophy of Microsoft on this point.

There is a lack of documentation with this computer. I also bought a 2 GB of RAM, the plans for the installation myself, but there is no information to guide me. This is very disappointing! It makes me wonder about the wisdom of making a purchase online than in a local shop that can offer technical support.

The computer itself is quite good, although I can not get used to the touchpad. Acer AOD250-1197 10.1-inch Netbook blue - up to 8 hours of battery life (Windows 7 Starter)
