I have seen a number of netbooks and older or have a Dinky, unreadable screen, keyboard unusable, or the construction seems very cheap. Samsung has taken into account when they created this model. The screen is strong and clear, easy to read, the keyboard is the size of an adult, and the unit looks and feels solid. I purchased this camera for his wife to take in Europe, so you can stay in touch without AT & T rich, with the intention of loading Linux on it when he returned. However, the configuration of Samsung XP Home is good enough to keep it as is. The wireless works - when you select an access point, you type the encryption key and walks away. The keyboard can be configured in reality - you can close the valve, which has been turned off while typing, or even close completely. E 'can also enlarge the screen with two fingers, a technique for the iPhone.

Like all cargo box OEM, there are a lot of extra crap installed that can be removed to save space. E 'has Bluetooth and it works it seems, with all sorts of things by ear confirmed crackberries. Has also worked with my Bluetooth GPS receiver, but unfortunately, my iPhone. If you really do not have Bluetooth, the automatic deactivation of the speed of computer starts a bit '. So far I have installed two different phone SIP client, Open Office and NetStumbler, as the drivers and utilities for a Nikon - n-shoot camera. Everything worked without problems until today.

Pros:

Solid unit with a unique coating on the case to make it easy to hang on to.
Wireless and touchpad drivers are not the stripped generic variety.
Battery life is pretty decent.

Cons:

AC adapter gets pretty darned hot.
Frequent / annoying pop-ups for security, driver and Windows updates.
Updates sometimes crash / fail to install.
Some preloaded software packages are only good for a certain period of time or pester you about buying the deluxe version.

As many have already said, these laptops are practically the same hardware / software. What you get is $ $ $ is added to the package, or more precisely the outer casing. Rounded corners and glossy paint and more than black and silver. The battery is good. I surfed for 5 hours of video playback and other forms of energy eaters, and connect it to reload. The power supply is super hot and the computer, while the PS plugged in. I'm really happy with my choice with this Samsung.

The reason why I chose to buy this device is the affirmation of autonomy of nine hours. Nice unit - the sound quality better than the NB10 - even if the battery life is far from being nine hours. Best I've seen so far is seven - but this is not bad, though.

Good, solid little machine. Just like advertising, the battery life is great. The keyboard is small but very useful, the tactile response is quite acceptable. The screen is clear, strong and the color is good. Operating speed is considerable, but acceptable, I helped a "small applications that use this laptop. She and my camera with me everywhere.

This is our third of households bought netbooks. The Samsung is by far the best of the lot (previous: Asus and Lenovo). The keyboard is exceptional and the main reason I chose this model. There is a Ctrl key on both sides. The buttons are completely separated from each other. This is the closest to a full size keyboard that I used. Hunt and Peck very little, unlike the previous machines. Samsung is incredibly quiet. Even when the fan runs almost imperceptibly. This is a great advantage for me. I disagree with the criticism offered by some other display. Although it is anti-glare is reflected in the small plastic cup, there are actually more black around the screen. The image is perfectly clear and has no confusion sometimes associated with non-glare glass. Very bright and lively.

I upgraded the memory to 2 GB and is a modest cost, it is worth. A simple exchange of modules to go around. Overall the machine is fast enough for what it is, I use a Verizon modem when away from home or from a web site with WiFi and get great results. Internal Wi-Fi card is very fast. Overall, exactly what I hoped: Lightweight, compact and well designed machine with an excellent keyboard, take my trips out of town, once or more per month. Overall performance was very good.

Highly recommended.

Our system was sunset orange, but midnight blue, jet black, and mint blue are also available. The interior keyboard tray and screen bezel are jet black and contrast nicely with the deep orange exterior.
