J. Shain ( PA ) For those wondering, you can change the background. You must install the utility to set the system ASUS, which can be used to change the wallpaper automatically at preset intervals. Despite the claims of other critics, in the end, given the wrong product. Although it is similar, is not the same thing. There are certainly hardware changes to the version of Windows 7. I really like this PC netbooks. I wanted something small enough to use as a heater and a leg to have a great desire that I carry a brick all the time. This perfectly fits the bill. The sleeve, which came with what appears to be of good quality and well padded, I would not spend extra money for others. I could upgrade the memory, but for now it seems sufficient enough for what I need.
The Netbook uses the GMA950 integrated graphics chip. You can overclock these with the GMA Booster 400MHz. I also read the netbook is stable when overclocked to 1.9 GHz, but I have not tried. The Eee Super Hybrid Engine that controls the preset modes to adjust the power of the processor clock speed depending on the mode. If you plan to upgrade the memory, I advise you to spend $ 3 more for the FSB to 800 MHz module that is more compatible with the mode Super High Performance. Windows 7 works well on netbooks. The Starter Edition does not seem limited to me. Are able to circumvent the limitation of wallpaper on the home network and connect easily with the desktop with Vista. I'm just happy to run Windows 7 Starter 3 questions limit was imposed, it would be broken. Wikipedia has a list of what is not available in this edition and for me, not worth spending more to upgrade to the next edition. Even Amazon Prime is great, $ 3.99 for shipping overnight. B. Bundy ( Phoenix, AZ ) Unlike the first reviewer of this book, I actually this product, not the previous generation. I will be brief and mild. I bought this day it was released and now they have been for about 5 days. At that time, I upgraded the RAM to 2 GB Max, has removed one of the programs year bloatware, installed a full version of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 and upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. If you want very detailed reviews of this netbook, read the BU-PU17 1005HA is exactly the same in blue instead of black. The comments I make is that it's all what I expected and I sought, and then some. I did not start Windows 7 has some limitations that I liked and bought the Home Premium Upgrade Windows 7 was one of my family and 3 years is accepted unused licenses. I did the Anytime Upgrade and it took all 10 minutes, I lost all data, and works well.
The only problem I had was when I tried to date with Windows Update. Every time I started, my wireless router Netgear WGT624v2 be blocked. With a little help from Netgear technical support forum that the problem was quickly resolved. Router error, not netbooks. As already mentioned, also the first review listed here by someone who does not even own the product, more or less everything you read on this netbook is true: great performance, amazing battery life, easy to use keyboard, nice display , surface fingerprint magnet. I did months of research and everything that is this (in fact, pre-Win version 7, which only improves on that). If you're looking for the best netbook on the market regardless of price, look no further.
