Carl S. ( New Orleans ) I bought two of these pre-teens for my two grandchildren. They setup easily. I had to add an external hard drive. The grandchildren have used them for about two months and am very happy. Parents can go online with the wireless setup. This seems to be a relatively cheap way to get a personal computer in the hands of a user 1st time. Of course, no memory (RAM) or the speed of a faster processor, but it seems very good for the sole purpose.

Randy B. ( Oxnard, CA ) First, for those who do not know what a netbook is almost like a laptop in almost every aspect of it, except that accelerates the size of RAM and the processor can not keep up with high demands of today, nearly all (like Photoshop or computer games, but are still open and install as usual, was simply too slow). Do not stop adding IM's though! Still runs perfect. I am a college student and I absolutely love almost everything about this netbook! Why this model? I deliberately chose this particular model for the 6-cell battery, which provides an average of 6 hours of battery life. Even if some later models, the addition of Bluetooth! I think this is just a nice little 'add-on. I also had the white netbooks because of "spread" factor (fingerprints).
Moreover, reason tells me that this is perhaps the best in the netbook market, since I spent about 3 weeks, 2 hours a day, searching and reading several netbook reviews every single review, which originated from NC10 / Samsung NC20 , Netbook Dell and HP, Asus and other brands also uncommon. Although there were Netbook with great autonomy, Netbook Acer was generally faster processors are much thinner, had a little 'less, and are even more beautiful than other brands, I particularly recommend this netbook as an alternative to notebook for students!

EM455 This notebook is not intended to be used for professional video, image or a good job. Does not even have a CD of Hall (and should not expect to have one anyway) But if you are a student, businessman, or a writer (especially a writer!) You'll love this netbook. I think it's a great first lap top for children or adolescents, because it is so easy to use and easy to use, in general. He just wants to write and write and write .... this computer will be easier for you! If you just want to have fun will be even easier. The computer gets too hot! if you use it in her lap, like me, most of the time you hear a sort of malaise almost thermal burns. The only thing I use USB to get internet on a PC also becomes very hot, I hope it does not deteriorate. The shiny surfaces to obtain fingerprints and scratches and dust seems impossible to get rid of ........ . I do not think that all the negative points I have mentioned so far are significant, I mean, the things that we can easily get used too. This is a simple notebook ideal for ordinary people great! > D
