Many other reviews here for details on this precious machine. I just want to add something that is almost impossible to detect from the manufacturer's website and comments PC. The screen on the steering wheel on Toshiba. 135 degrees, while the screens on many other machines (for example, the popular Asus models) shot approx. 110 degrees. Given the size of these machines, if the keyboard is at a height comfortable for the hands, then the screen is much smaller than a laptop (and certainly an office). Therefore, for comfortable viewing, you should be able to rotate the screen to the extent possible. This feature of the Toshiba was enough for me to choose this model of competition.

Best Netbook! My wife loves this car, I would have waited and bought one for me instead of my Acer (which I like, but not like this)

Sent to me from the Boss .. BEST netbook I've used so far, I am a geek Netbook. I have owned and used the Netbook followed for 1.5 years: Lenovo S10 Mini Asus Dell HP Mini 1000, 1005 and 1008 and now Toshiba NB205-311, I can tell you he simply said, the Toshiba towel. I would say that the Asus 1008 is probably the best netbook I've used, but here is what is the big winner of Toshiba:

Keyboard. I am a typist and the buttons on this machine are the best I've ever seen to date on a netbook. Raised, well separated, are sensitive and seems like a good if not as good as a MacBook. The trackpad, while a few "hypersensitive, is great ... and I like the best of the best. Battery life is excellent. I tell my Asus 1005 has probably been a little 'better. I just flew cross-country skiing in Providence, RI to San Fran and watched 7 episodes of Season 1, Supernatural, stirring constantly with WiFi off. I still, after 6 hours of battery life was 28%, and I had the screen brightness all the way up to the elbow. The power mode lets you select the DVD playback.

With WiFi, BT, and disconnected with the parameters of average power, many web browsing, I have 8.25 hours of life. I am a power user, so sometimes when I'm using only Office or the monitoring of email and web browsing lighter, I am more and more like 9 hours. In other words, the battery life excellent. WIFI is simple and easy. BT breeze. Excellent power saving mode. I can not, however, Stop Raving on the keyboard. E 'fantastic. The only drawback is that the small screen seems a bit 'washed out colors when the screen is tilted back at an angle of 45 degrees. You have to push back a little detail and he will be great. Only a little.

If you are considering one of these right now, I think that we have with Windows 7, so I would be willing to say it will be even better with the new software as well. Nobody has come up with a price that approaches this netbook. Well, Asus 1008 is about as pretty as a car, how can you ask ... However, the battery life is only 4-4,5 hours. The 1005 is also good, but a little 'more' heavy because of this and the fact that the keyboard is simply fantastic on Toshiba, the NB205 is the way to go.

This small laptop is everything I asked and more! The only thing I would change is to give the 2 GB of RAM from the factory, and it would be almost perfect (at least in my opinion)! The door is hot as a trip a little 'and I never carry more than just a USB cable for my smartphone as this gem will charge the phone, even if the computer is off! I like the range of the card wireless network and an application that allows me to see all available networks in a "radar" type screen. I also like the fact that there is a drop in the form of sensor that parks the hard drive heads if the computer detects a fall or shock (of course, the sensitivity must be adjusted, or will be in charge of the park when it is taken, or landed on a hard surface.) Perhaps the most surprising thing of this laptop, however, is the battery life. I tried on a normal day at work and found the battery life to be right about 9 hours! This is great for those of us who are "Road Warriors" and spend much time in both terminals, waiting, or sitting in various places. You can play and be productive in both cases, there will be enough time before having to find an outlet! And the airlines adding wireless Internet access for their planes now, it helps pass the time on long boring trips cross-country!

The only recommendations I have is that: 1) additional RAM is a must (which contains up to 2GB), and 2) an external DVD player / recorder is an advantage that is almost an obligation to instruct or other Office applications ( unless you plan to use zip files downloaded from a USB, which is how I loaded Office 2007 Enterprise Edition). In conclusion: good price for a netbook, because it can satisfy all your needs, you can ask for more. I have yet to encounter a problem that could not handle.

The NB205-N210 works well for the Internet and send e-mail. It will test your patience with the small screen so as not to load down with the toolbars. I ordered 1 GB of additional memory and certainly advisable. I loaded MS Office and works well. Battery life is great just hope it lasts longer than my experience with laptops. Runs a lot cooler laptop I've used.
