I purchased this netbook in April, before a long trip. Exceeded all my expectations: the 1000HE worked right out of the box. Everything has been done to remove the evaluation software (except for programs of Star Office) and upgrade the RAM to 2GB. Battery life is described by the manufacturer. E 'can run more than 9 1 / settings of at least 2 hours. Not only was sufficient for word processing, spreadsheets and communication and web surfing is also good for video playback and ripping. E 'can also perform NWN I, even if the video settings to minimum. Overall, it is more difficult to free the computer that I got my MacBook last one died in the mid-nineties.

I do presentations and training. This small laptop fits anywhere and is easy to install. What I like is the battery life improved. If I can not get a power cable that will last six hours, if you use the scanner out of it and the DVD player. If your computer is all that I use will last 8 to 9 hours depending on usage. This helps a lot when I travel on planes. I'm not hunting around for an outlet so you can work on this report or decide to play a game while I wait through another flight is delayed. Highly recommended for travelers. I have had this for four months.
